Our Volkswagen T4 and T5 vans can accommodate up to 4 people. For details on sleeping arrangements and configurations, please visit our Fleet page.
Yes. The Volkswagen T4 and T5 drive like a normal medium-sized van, with a manual transmission. No special license is required. Upon collection, we always provide a comprehensive briefing on the operation of all on-board systems.
Category B license, held for at least 24 months. The primary driver must be at least 23 years old. Any additional drivers must be registered before departure.
No, fuel (diesel) is always the customer's responsibility. The van is delivered with a full tank and must be returned with a full tank. For normal use in Puglia (slow travel, 500-700 km per week), the approximate cost is around €100-150 per week.
100 km per day is included. Each additional km is charged at €0.20.
Yes, but only with prior written authorization and additional insurance coverage. Contact us before leaving to arrange everything.
Where to sleep and stay
Italian law allows overnight parking with your vehicle parked, provided you do not use outdoor equipment (awnings, tables, chairs). Wild camping directly on the coast is not permitted, especially in high season when checks are more frequent. We offer a curated selection of campervan areas and secluded spots with sea views, basic amenities, and an authentic atmosphere.
May, June, and September are the ideal months: mild weather, fewer crowds, lower prices. July and August are beautiful but crowded on the coast. In spring and autumn, the hinterland—with olive groves, farmhouses, and dirt roads—offers experiences that are hard to replicate.
Absolutely. Puglia is a narrow peninsula: the two coasts are often less than an hour's drive apart. You can easily combine them into a single itinerary.
The Apulian hinterland is one of the least explored areas of Italy. Centuries-old olive groves, farmhouses, caves, and whitewashed villages just a few kilometers from the sea offer a completely different dimension. Sleeping under the olive trees in your van is often the most vivid memory you take home.
Assistance and unforeseen events
Yes. We can be reached via WhatsApp every day from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm. We offer real-time suggestions for itineraries, stops, and camper parking areas. In the event of a mechanical breakdown not attributable to the driver, 24-hour roadside assistance is available.
Contact us within 24 hours of the incident. In the event of an accident, please complete the CAI (Friendly Incident Report) form. Do not abandon the vehicle without notifying us. We will do our best to find a solution, subject to fleet availability.
Contact us directly: we evaluate each case individually based on the van booked and the type of animal.
